TURN OFF THE LIGHT AND TURN ON THE CHANGE WITH EARTH HOUR

17.03.2016

Turn off lights for a hour and join millions around the world during the worldwide mobilization promoted by WWF. The Earth Hour is celebrated this year on March, 19th, from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm (UTC+1.00).

The initiative, which since the first edition in 2007 has been drawing wide participation and has been engaging many world-famous landmarks – from Tour Eiffel to the Colosseum – in lights-off events, is going to repeat this year too. Few months after the COP21 international climate summit, the world is still at a crossroads: stepping up on climate change or accepting its tragic impacts.

This is the reason why everyone’s active participation is fundamental, for example by organizing a candlelight dinner or by sharing information on social networks.

Find out more on how you can make the 2016 Earth Hour a successful initiative.
